Frank Cozzi: Chief Executive Officer

Frank’s expertise ranges from operations, sales, and marketing to executive and administrative leadership. He has over 45 years of experience in the ferrous and non-ferrous recycling industry and is a past Chairman of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), a trade association of 1600 companies that process, broker, and consume scrap commodities.

Prior to Cozzi Consulting, Frank served as Vice President of Metal Management, Inc. from 1997 until 2004. In addition to his role at Metal Management, Frank was President of Cozzi Iron & Metal, Inc., where he and the Cozzi family developed the scrap metal operation into a respected leader in the Chicago market. Frank also is a partner with Cozzi Consulting Group. Frank graduated from the Owner President Management program at Harvard Business School in 1991 and is an active alumnus. He also is actively involved on the Board of Managers of the Valentine Boys and Girls Club of Chicago.

Albert Cozzi: Director

Prior to his role in Cozzi Recycling, Albert was the CEO of Metal Management. He guided Metal Management to grow revenues exceeding $1 billion. Under Albert’s stewardship Metal Management reduced its financial debt and increased total market share all while the stock price grew ten-fold.

Previously, Albert served as chairman and CEO of Cozzi Iron & Metal, Inc. Under his leadership, the company grew to generate $250 million a year in total sales, earning Cozzi Iron & Metal the reputation as one of the most efficient and respected scrap metal operations in the U.S.

Albert received his Master’s in Business Administration from University of Chicago. He is also the former chairman of the ferrous division of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, a trade association that represents 1600 members in the recycling industry.

Albert is a partner with Cozzi Consulting Group.

Gregory Cozzi: Director

Gregory was formerly the Vice President for Cozzi Iron & Metal. In this capacity, Greg directed a team of professionals who designed and implemented scrap management systems to maximize scrap revenues for industrial manufacturers.

From 1997-2004 Gregory served as Executive Vice President of Metal Management. During this period, Gregory was in charge of the Industrial Scrap Division.

Gregory is also a partner with Cozzi Consulting Group and has served on the board of directors for the Association of Steel Distributors and The Precision Metal Forming Association. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Northern Michigan University in 1976.

Anthony Cozzi: Vice President

Prior to his role as Vice President of Cozzi Recycling, Anthony served as a Chicago Regional Operations Manager for Metal Management where he managed six scrap metal yards.

In 2000, he became Plant Manager of the company’s “Main Yard”, which housed four facilities serving the Chicago area. As Plant Manager, Anthony implemented the expansion of non-ferrous warehouses. Prior to becoming the Main Yard Plant Manager, Anthony was the Plant Manager of the company’s non-ferrous warehouse in Chicago.

Frank Cozzi Jr.: Vice President

Before joining the leadership team as Vice President at Cozzi Recycling, Frank Jr. served as Regional Operations Manager for Metal Management overseeing three scrap metal yards and the Maintenance Department, which was responsible for 10 scrap metal yards and a fleet of 70+ trucks.

Before the merger with Metal Management, Frank Jr served as Cozzi Iron and Metal’s Maintenance Manager.
